Melanie Cooper

Michigan State University

Melanie Cooper, Lappan-Phillips Professor of Science Education, received her B.S. M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Manchester, England. Her research has focused on improving teaching and learning in large enrollment introductory chemistry courses, including general and organic chemistry.

Mike Klymkowsky

University of Colorado, Boulder

Mike Klymkowsky, is a professor of Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology and a co-director of CU Teach, the science and mathematics teacher recruitment and certification program at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He has a BS in Biophysics from the Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the California Institute of Technology.

Sam Bryfczynski

Clemson University

Sam Bryfczynski, received his Ph.D. from the Computer Science Division of the School of Computing at Clemson University in 2012, Sam also received his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science at Clemson University. During his time at Clemson, Sam focused on developing educational applications with emerging technologies and devices.

Josiah Hester

Clemson University

Josiah Hester is a Ph.D. Student in the School of Computing at Clemson University. Josiah received his B.S. in Computer Science at Clemson University. Josiah developed the mobile and HTML5 versions of beSocratic and functions as webmaster.
